Grandvalira - Pas de la Casa
This is the highest point both in terms of skiing and the location of village in the Grandvalira skiarea. Here is a stunning view over the beautiful landscape just approaching the French border. Pas de la Casa is probably the most popular skiresort in the Pyrenees and the most recognized place from before the skiresorts were linked in the Grandvalira skiarea. Pas de la Casa has an amazing snowstatstic and the curved boulevards ends in the village, where the afterski and nightlife take over.
It was here, on the fields below “Pic d’Envalira”, Fransesc Viladomat build the first skilift in 1956. It was named “Col Blanc” and was run by a truck engine. Since then the development and construction of new lifts have taken off, but Pas de la Casa has kept its position as the pioneer for ski sport in Andorra.
Pas de la casa is the village with the most bars, restaurants and discos. We are likely to recommend bars like Underground, Paddy’s Pub and West End. You enjoy a fair 3 course dinner for 20 EUR in ex. Restaurant Marseilles. Pas de la Casa is especially for younger clients, and besides hotels we propose self catered apartments.
